We digitally print your art on our corrugated board in CMYK, often referred to as 4-color process, ink with a UV cure. The UV cure ensures your art is set to withstand basic elements and won’t rub off. Our printers are calibrated to SWOP standards, but no two digital printers are the same and we cannot match a PMS color. If color matters to you, please explore our proof options.

Proof and Sample Options

If seeing a sample before you place a full order is important to you, we offer two options:

1. Proof:

You can always order a quantity of 1 with Pratt. This is the best way to see your art. Turn times for custom proof orders will vary; please chat with us if you have a specific deadline, and we'll let you know if we can make it.

2. Printed or Blank Samples:

If you want to see the quality of our printing or you want to have an extra blank thrown in with your proof order for sizing purposes, you can order a blank or printed sample mailer box for just $1.

Product Guarantee

We take full responsibility for the quality of the product. If you are ever dissatisfied with the quality, reach out to us immediately. Our terms and conditions outline our policies on refunds and reprints. Our product is 100% custom. Because of this, we expect our customer to take responsibility for the art product itself. If you want to be sure the end product turns out exactly how you wanted it to, we strongly recommend that you purchase a proof before you place a full order.

Shipping

UPS ground shipping is our default. Our boxes are packed in a corrugated cardboard box usually no more than 50 pounds/each. You will receive a shipping notification when your order is being processed for shipping. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking number to populate your shipping information. Expedited shipping is available on the shipping calculator. If you require special shipping instructions such as blind shipping, a house UPS account or an alternate shipping arrangement, you must reach out to customers service to approve and process your request.

Can these boxes be used for shipping art, photos and other delicate items?

These boxes are made of sturdy corrugated cardboard and will withstand the rigors of the delivery truck. Be sure to wrap them carefully in a shock-absorbing void fill and trust that they will arrive intact.

Are these boxes safe for food?

Our Custom Square Mailer Boxes make a great secondary package for food items when your product is already protected by food safe wrapping. If you plan to keep the contents free within the box, we suggest you look at our pizza box (COMING SOON), which is made with water-based inks.

Can I order a small quantity to test to see if my product will fit?

Our $1 samples will be the perfect answer if you're just looking for fit. If you want to take it one step further and test out your design, too, look to the proof. Order and quantity of one at checkout. First-time customers can get their proof for free with the code FREEPROOF.

Can I apply my design to a different-sized box?

Did you order a free proof and figure out that you need a bigger size? It happens. Our templates are available for download, so you can adjust your design to fit different sized boxes as you see fit.

What is the square mailer best used for?

Many clients have had great luck with the square mailer for apparel and swag boxes. It has the appeal of the mailer box in terms of “unboxing experience” with the wide and flat square footage you might need for textiles, apparel, and framed art like recognition certificates, original art, and framed photography.

Can I print on the inside of the box?

We offer inside print, outside print or BOTH. Printing your message on the inside of the box can eliminate the need to add additional marketing materials to the contents. You can print your message right on the lid. External printing gives your recipient that “Christmas morning” feeling building anticipation of the unboxing event. SOme of our customers if sending their package to an are with known porch pirates will keep the outside fairly simple and make the inside amazing. It’s up to you and your goals.
